M&E Engineering Supervisor – Canary Wharf – 60K\n\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations within a prestigious, high-end residential estate in Canary Wharf. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader who can manage a small team while maintaining exceptional standards across landlord and tenant services.\nThe Role\n\nReporting directly to the Building Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day engineering operations across a premium residential estate, including some mixed-use elements. You’ll lead a team of engineers, ensuring all maintenance is delivered to a high standard while keeping the team motivated, accountable, and performing effectively.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupervise and support a team of on-site engineers\nOversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works\nEnsure landlord services are maintained to a high standard, with tenant works managed and quoted correctly\nAct as the technical lead on site, supporting fault finding and complex issues\nDrive performance, standards, and accountability within the engineering team\nLiaise closely with the Building Manager and wider estate team\nAbout You\n\nStrong technical background in either high-end residential or premium commercial environments with previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineering role\n\nApprenticeship or higher qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.\nHealth & Safety qualifications (IOSH, SSSTS, or NEBOSH) .\nProven ability to lead in-house teams and external contractors, maintaining compliance and service excellence.\nStrong working knowledge of statutory systems (L8, EICR, SFG20, LOLER, PUWER, building regulations).\nExperience using CAFM systems and reactive maintenance systems.\nStrong communication and organisational skills\nProactive, hands-on, and able to lead from the front\nThe Package\n\nSalary: £60,000\nWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nOption to buy or sell up to 5 days leave\n8% pension contribution\nPrivate healthcare (Bupa)\nAnnual salary reviews\nBonus scheme\nFull uniform provided\nEnhanced parental leave, sick pay, and compassionate leave\nAdditional lifestyle benefits and discounts
