Junior Construction Manager - Hayes

Reports to:
Head of Construction
Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing the design and construction of data centre projects and supporting infrastructure, ensuring delivery to agreed budgets, programmes, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee project delivery from design through to commissioning, certification, and integrated systems testing (IST)
* Manage budgets, programmes, procurement, supply chain, and contract administration
* Ensure all works meet quality standards and health & safety policies
* Lead and coordinate project teams, consultants, and contractors
* Prepare and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and produce status reports
* Identify and manage technical and commercial risks
* Act as main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, architects, designers, and contractors
* Support user training, project evaluation, and final approval of design specifications
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering )
* 10+ years' experience in construction management, ideally with data centre projects
* Strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software (Asta Powerproject )
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
* Eligibility for Security Clearance
