Role Overview\n\nWe are seeking an experienced M&E Construction Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical works on a long-term project in Reading, operating within a high-security environment. The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and delivery of M&E packages to the highest standards of safety, quality, and programme compliance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage and oversee all M&E construction activities on site\n\n * \n\n Coordinate M&E subcontractors, supervisors, and site teams\n\n * \n\n Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme\n\n * \n\n Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with regulations and project standards\n\n * \n\n Lead site meetings, progress reviews, and coordination sessions\n\n * \n\n Identify risks, issues, and clashes, driving timely resolution\n\n * \n\n Ensure adherence to site safety procedures and security requirements\n\n * \n\n Liaise with client representatives, project managers, and design teams\n\n * \n\n Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as an M&E Construction Manager on large-scale or complex projects\n\n * \n\n Strong background in managing both mechanical and electrical packages\n\n * \n\n Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills\n\n * \n\n In-depth knowledge of health & safety and construction regulations\n\n * \n\n Valid CSCS Card\n\n * \n\n Ability to obtain SC Security Clearance\n\n * \n\n Sole British (mandatory for clearance)
