A high-achieving, Ofsted-rated Good all-girls Secondary School in Enfield is seeking an ambitious Maths Teacher to join its successful department from September 2026. This Maths Teacher Enfield September 2026 opportunity offers the chance to teach motivated pupils within a calm, purposeful and academically focused environment.
This Secondary Teaching Opportunity is based in a school known for strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes, excellent behaviour, and a culture that champions academic confidence in young women. The Maths curriculum is carefully sequenced from KS3 through to Further Maths at KS5, with a strong emphasis on problem solving, reasoning and exam readiness. Staff collaborate closely to refine teaching through evidence-based pedagogy and consistent assessment practices.

The role Maths Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality, knowledge-rich Maths lessons across KS3KS5

- Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
The school is looking for:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completion of a UK-recognised training programme
- A strong academic background, ideally a 2:1 or higher from a reputable university
- Substantial classroom experience within a UK Secondary setting
- Evidence of delivering structured lessons with measurable pupil progress
- Confidence working within established behaviour frameworks
- Legal entitlement to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Salary: Outer London MPS £37,870£50,474 (UPS up to £56,154). TLR opportunities may be available for experienced Maths Teachers.
