Maths Teacher - Independent School, Enfield

Start Date: September 2026

Connaught Education is supporting a leading independent school in Enfield in the appointment of an experienced Maths teacher from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced teacher to join an exceptional Maths department and teach students up to GCSE level. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, challenging lessons, inspire a love of mathematics, and support students to achieve excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to secondary students up to GCSE level.
• Plan and deliver stimulating, differentiated lessons that develop problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the department to maintain high academic standards.
• Contribute to the co-curricular programme and wider school community.

Candidate Profile:

• Experienced secondary Maths teacher with expertise in GCSE.
• Outstanding classroom practitioner with a genuine passion for inspiring students.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Committed, adaptable, and motivated to contribute to the wider school community.
