A number of well-regarded secondary schools in the Binfield area are looking to recruit multiple Maths graduates for September, offering an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience while training to become a qualified teacher.

This programme is designed to support graduates from day one, providing a clear and structured pathway into teaching without the upfront cost of traditional training routes.

• Multiple Maths Graduate roles
• Starting salary of approximately £22,000 £23,000
• A fully supported teacher training pathway via an apprenticeship route
• No cost for teacher training
• Dedicated mentoring and ongoing professional development

Youll begin by working alongside experienced teachers, gradually increasing your teaching responsibilities as your confidence grows.

• Supporting Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 exposure may be available)
• Assisting with lesson delivery and student progress
• Progressing into teaching your own classes (typically 1012 lessons)
• Receiving regular coaching and feedback from experienced staff

• Well-resourced Maths departments with strong leadership
• A supportive and collaborative teaching environment
• Structured behaviour systems and engaged students
• Clear progression into a long-term teaching career

• A degree in Maths or a related subject (e.g. Engineering, Physics)
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching
• Experience working with young people, which may include:
  • Tutoring (paid or voluntary)
  • Mentoring
  • Youth work
  • Coaching or club leadership
  • School-based or voluntary experience with children
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, enthusiastic approach
