I am working with a secondary school in Newham seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant. This role is perfectly suited to an aspiring Maths teacher looking to develop their skills and gain meaningful school experience ahead of a PGCE or other teacher training pathway. The Role: Supporting the delivery of engaging and effective Maths lessons Providing 1:1 and small group support to students of varying abilities Assisting with lesson planning and classroom activities Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment Encouraging student confidence, participation, and academic progress What The School Are Looking For: A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject (2:1 or above preferred) A clear ambition to pursue a career in teaching Strong communication and interpersonal skills A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude Any prior experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential Why This Role?
