Maths and English Tutor \nAre you a nurturing, patient, and compassionate individual with a passion for supporting students who are disengaged from mainstream education?\n \nProspero Teaching are seeking dedicated Tutors to support students who have been permanently excluded in the Newcastle area. These young people are not currently accessing mainstream education as a result of being permanently excluded due to various reasons. We are looking for Tutors to work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Permanently Excluded students, covering Maths and English, who can provide a safe, encouraging, and empowering learning environment to re-engage them in their learning journey.\n \nThe Opportunity \nYou will be supporting young people on a 1-1 or small group basis who are not currently accessing full time education for various reasons.

\nMany of our young people have not attended school for some time and may have emotional barriers to learning. As a result, we are seeking nurturing Tutors with a patient, flexible approach and a passion for working closely with students to overcome barriers to learning. \nSessions will take place face to face either in a community setting or at the young persons home.

\n\nYour role with us: \n· Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in Maths and English \n· Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps. \n· Monitor student progress \n· Create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students re-build their confidence in learning. \n· Complete daily attendance and weekly reports.
