Material Scheduler - 12 month FTC (Temp to Perm) £25,000 - £30,000 Blackburn

Check out this fantastic 12 month fixed term contract with a growing manufacturing business in the Blackburn area. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure and experience in a global business, and there is real potential the role could become permanent at the end of the initial term.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule appropriate raw material deliveries to ensure availability for Production plan Place and expedite purchase orders with international supplier base Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues/queries and manage vendor performance Escalate late or "at risk" supply to Supply Chain Management Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure adherence to inbound schedule and timely inbound processing Work to KPIs such as material availability, supplier OTIF and inventory levels

Ideal skills and experience:

Min 1+ years' material scheduling experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment Good command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis (Intermediate level - e.g. Pivot Tables, Vlookups) Passion to develop a career within Supply Chain Management Confident communicator, able to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders Excellent organisational skil...
