Job summary: To manage and optimise the flow of material into the UK Facility. Involving planning, scheduling, and coordinating the delivery of material to meet the production plan; while minimising costs and inventory levels
Main Responsibilities
Material Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and inventory policies. Coordinate with production teams to align material availability with production needs
Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Conduct regular inventory audits and analyse data to identify trends or inefficiencies.
Procurement Coordination
Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials. Work with suppliers to resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or capacity.
Supply Chain Optimization
Analyse supply chain performance metrics and recommend process improvements. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and delivery standards.
