We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner/Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will serve as the key link between our customers and internal departments—ensuring efficient job scheduling, accurate order processing, and on-time delivery of quality parts. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met.

Create job travelers within 24 hours of receiving customer purchase orders using Epicor 9.

Monitor production jobs and ensure timely closure within the ERP system.

Set up and release jobs based on inventory needs, shipments, and demand reports.

Generate and maintain essential reports, including:

On-time delivery tracking

Customer sales data

Open purchase order reports

Daily "jobs to be" reports

Input and verify inventory data; assist with physical inventory counts when necessary.

Communicate with customers via EDI, phone, or fax within 24 hours of inquiries or order receipt.

Collaborate across departments to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of customer parts.

Identify and resolve scheduling or inventory issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization abilities

Effective communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Epicor 9 (or similar ERP systems)

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams

Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience
