The position of Marketplace Account Executive will manage day to day relationships with a portfolio of marketplace sellers, acting as the first point of contact and supporting them across trading performance, operational queries and account development.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, the Marketplace Account Executive will help sellers improve visibility, optimise listings and maximise commercial opportunities across the platform.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced ecommerce environment and enjoys combining relationship management, data analysis and commercial problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with a portfolio of marketplace sellers, supporting growth, retention and performance improvement
Act as the first point of contact for day to day seller queries, ensuring a positive and responsive partner experience
Work with sellers to improve product visibility, pricing, availability and assortment across the platform
Conduct regular account reviews and provide data led recommendations to improve performance
Support Tier 1 sellers with enhanced service levels and proactive account management
Ensure sellers remain compliant with legal, regulatory and platform trading standards
Coordinate promotional activity, pricing updates and campaign support across seller accounts
Collaborate with marketing and social teams around key trading periods and seasonal opportunities
Monitor order flow, stock levels and service metrics, working with sellers to improve standards
Support product onboarding and listing accuracy, ensuring products go live on time and correctly
Work cross functionally with finance, operations, compliance and new business teams to resolve issues quickly
Manage support tickets and seller communication through Zendesk or similar platforms
Track recurring issues and contribute ideas to improve processes, systems and seller experience
Provide regular reporting on seller performance, sales trends and growth opportunities
Support the transition of newly onboarded sellers into long term account management
About You
Strong interest in ecommerce, marketplaces or digital retail, gained through work, internships or relevant commercial roles
Excellent communication skills with confidence managing relationships internally and externally
Commercial mindset with the ability to spot growth opportunities and solve problems quickly
Comfortable using Excel, formulas and data to create clear reports and insights
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing listings, pricing and operational tasks
Collaborative approach with experience working cross functionally
Positive, proactive and eager to develop within a high growth business
