Our client is a well‑known multinational player in the beauty & healthcare sectors, managing much loved brands across the UK market spanning haircare, oral care and personal healthcare. The UK market is a lead market for innovation and marketing comms, and the company prides itself on its dynamic, innovative and collaborative, team‑driven culture, where people contribute to building an exciting, positive and creative atmosphere.
Now seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead one of its largest brands and drive growth through strategic brand management, product innovation and innovative A&P campaigns. This role has a UK remit, but will be closely involved in developing and framing global brand strategies for innovation and communications.
This is a pivotal role where you'll take full ownership of the brand's performance and future direction. You'll develop strategic, insight‑led plans that build brand equity and set the growth vision. Working with your team, creative agencies and internal partners, you'll drive consumer interest via integrated comms, manage the innovation pipeline and ensure the brand remains competitive in the market. Your decisions will shape the brand's market position and success. 🎯
📒 What you’ll be doing from Day 1
Developing strategic brand plans grounded in consumer insight and market trendsLeading a team of 2 brand managers, setting performance and growth objectivesCreating integrated brand comms strategies across ATL, BTL, digital and social channelsManaging substantial A&P budgets and showing a clear ROI through performance analysisDriving NPD and EPD from concept generation to successful commercialisationOverseeing consumer & shopper insight and using insights to inform strategic decisionsWorking with creative and media agencies to develop compelling brand campaignsSupporting the Innovation team to build a strong innovation funnel with exciting propositions
🌟What we are looking for
Exceptional track record of building compelling & effective brand strategies and plansRobust FMCG skills with extensive experience in personal care or beauty brandsSubstantial experience leading innovation NPD/EPD from concept to market launchDemonstrated experience managing and developing direct reportsStrong analytical skills spanning consumer & market insight and financial management dataExcellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skillsHighly organised and focused with strong budget and process management skillsAdditional European language skills are desirable but not essential
