We are seeking a commercially astute and creative leader to provide sabbatical cover for the UK Marketing Director role on a fixed-term secondment. The focus is to deliver the UK’s 2026 marketing strategy as outlined, ensuring seamless continuity for the team and business. The current postholder will return to the role at the end of the secondment.

This is a high-impact leadership position, responsible for managing a talented team and working closely with senior business stakeholders to execute strategic priorities. You will shape and drive Account Based Marketing, champion partner-first campaigns, and ensure alignment with both local and global objectives. The role offers significant variety, the chance to influence go-to-market strategy, and the opportunity to foster collaboration across the entire Capgemini business.

Your role
There are several key priorities to manage and deliver throughout this secondment. They include:
Ensuring the successful delivery of UK 2026 Marketing Strategy: Working with UK team of marketers, and wider business, ensure plans come to fruition and flex is managed appropriately. Meeting 2026 Marketing objectives, outlined in advance, aligning with the UK’s growth ambition.
Coaching a high performing and ambitious team: Lead a team of 14 skilled UK-based marketers and (dotted-line) 8 global-based function experts who support the business growth across Capgemini Market Units (MUs), Sogeti, Invent, frog, Engineering, and partner marketing. Proactively supporting their learning & development and progression. Maintaining the foundation of collaboration and team spirit our success is built on.
Marketing as strategic advisors on Big Bets: Play core role in go-to-market strategy and execution. Linking the business and activating through Account Based Marketing, asset creation, and positioning / lead gen campaigns.
Influencing substantial client growth: Manage increased quality and quantity of Account Based Marketing – aligned to Group programme and UK CSO ambition.
Supporting net new logo drive: Support prioritised new logo campaigns, with activated and improved nurture funnel, aligning with UKBU ambition to increase net new logo growth.
Embedding partner-first marketing across Market Units and Global Business Liness: Increase joint partner success stories and enable partner marketing through UK marketing strategy and campaigns (as opposed to introducing stand-alone partner events).
Managing transformative shifts: Respond to change driven by the Global M&C transformation, seamlessly integrating UK team with new ambitions and approaches. Secure Global / Local success.
Optimising UK / Europe positioning campaign: Evolve the ‘Making it real’ campaign with working group and Global Brand team – Group transformation pilot. Build out retargeting.
Improving creative agency output & skills mix: Support the growth drive with strategic creative that is delivered quicker and really competes in market.

Your skills and experience
Extensive marketing leadership experience including leading a +10 person B2B marketing team. Preferably in a technology or technology services organisation of significant scale and complexity – including a Global / Local dynamic.
A people-orientated leader who creates a psychologically safe environment for people to be inspired and succeed in.
Strong intellectual curiosity and a strategic mindset.
Results-driven with a solid analytical ability for architecting measurable, outcome-based marketing programs.
Willingness to proactively roll-up sleeves and get into the detail of delivery.
Well-rounded in numerous B2B marketing functions; essential expertise in ABM, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, and Content Marketing.
Proven track record of working closely with Sales and Business leaders to build pipeline and accelerate large deals.
Outstanding communicator and collaborator. Ability to manage stakeholders and influence outcomes in a matrixed organistaion. Excellent written skills.
Comprehensive digital skillset, including Salesforce, Pardot, and Co-Pilot.
