Marketing & Communications Executive, UKinbound

UKinbound is seeking a part-time Marketing & Communications Executive to join their team three days a week to support the delivery of a wide variety of marketing and communications activity for the Association and its members. This is an exciting London-based role with the fantastic opportunity to work closely with some of the UK’s best-known tourism brands and be at the forefront of industry developments. You will be instrumental in helping members maximise their business opportunities through our marketing channels and in raising the profile of UKinbound within the wider industry.

The Marketing & Communications Executive will report to the Marketing & Communications Manager and provide support to the Head of Marketing & Communications and the Head of Public Affairs & PR.

The successful candidate will be an articulate and confident communicator, experienced in content creation and editing, with an eye for design, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager to deliver marketing and communications activity that provides value for UKinbound’s members and the Association.
  • Producing regular weekly e-newsletters, including members newsletter, bespoke mailings and forthcoming events.
  • Producing artwork for digital channels, including website, social media and email communications.
  • Supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager in the day-to-day running of digital channels, including social media and website.
  • Supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager to produce digital and print marketing collateral for members and external audiences.
  • Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager on digital analytics and feedback, using insights to inform future activity.
  • Supporting the wider team wherever necessary.
  • Demonstrate UKinbound values at all times.

Qualifications

  • Background in communications, marketing, PR or similar (degree or relevant experience).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly articulate.
  • Experience in content creation, writing and editing.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Good eye for visual design and imagery, experience of graphic design tools desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with CMS systems is desirable.
  • Experience with digital analytics tools is desirable.
  • Familiar with social media.
  • Ability to work evenings and occasionally travel away from home for a number of days for industry events.
  • Travel & tourism industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
