Job Description
Are you a Senior Marine Technician looking for a step up into leadership or perhaps you're already within technical management but are seeking more interaction with senior stakeholders and a greater voice in your company?
A rare opportunity has become available to join a very fast growing and busy Marine Lloyd's Broker as a Marine Technical Manager. Not one of the large corporate brokers, this is a nice sized, independent Lloyd's Broker who are experiencing strong exciting growth year on year (Particularly marine!)
Here, you will manage and lead a team of 5 Marine Insurance Technicians (All different levels) and be involved in an array of specialty marine insurance including Marine Hull and Marine War, Marine Cargo and even some Aviation business.
You will lead from the front, offer direction and ensure all slip production, processing and documentation is performed in an accurate manner. You'll be a subject matter expert in all areas, you'll monitor workloads efficiently, perform quality control checks, utilise reporting whilst managing client portfolios through to completion.
As a key member of the team and business, you'll have direct access to the senior stakeholders and senior management to ensure your division is thriving and you're able to build greater collaboration with the Brokers in the team.
What do you have to offer?
Well, you'll have been in a highly technical role within commercial marine insurance and have working experience ideally within marine hull and war insurance. You'll have a steady CV and show strong leadership qualities to direct and improve your team.
