We are looking for a contract engineer to develop a technical specification for new Automated Fibre Placement (AFP) equipment.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements from engineering, project, and business stakeholders

Liaise with customers and equipment suppliers
\n
\n
\n
Produce a clear technical specification for AFP equipment
\n
\n
\n
Support supplier discussions and procurement activities

\n
\n
Requirements

Experience specifying complex industrial equipment

\n
\n
Strong technical specification writing capability
\n
\n
\n
Confident stakeholder and supplier engagement

\n
\n
AFP, advanced manufacturing experience

\n
Composites, aerospace / automotive background

\n
\n
