Job Description:
Overview: Leonardo seeks an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to develop a new production area for our Communication Systems team, focusing on Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities: Define production methods, develop manufacturing plans, manage resources, and oversee production engineering, planning, and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- Experience with manufacturing systems, capacity planning, factory layout, WIP & inventory optimization, problem solving, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ability to lead operational excellence and continuous improvement teams.
- Defense sector experience.
- Experience with MRP systems, preferably SAP.
