My client, an Engineering company based near Dudley is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Planner on a permanent basis.

As the head of the planning tem, you will detail-driven ensuring customer orders are translated into effective build plans across all departments.

The main responsibilities of the role include

- Create and maintain production plans - Utilize advanced Excel to analyze demand, capacity and performance - Utilize system(Sage) to plan production works - Work closely with other areas of the business to maintain proficient planning at all times - Promote all initiatives to improve production where possible

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Previous experience in a similar role - Strong Communication skills - Excellent IT Skills especially Excel - Proven ability to train and build high performance teams - Ideally knowledge of SAGE 200 and Sicon - Previous knowledge of translating Excel based planning to MRP System - Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles

The salary on offer will be determined by the suitable candidates experience
