Job DescriptionManufacturing EngineerLocation: Derby (Civil Large Engine Build Facility) Working Pattern: Full-time, with hybrid flexibility - minimum 3 days on-site (Subject to Local managers approval)About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Assembly & Test and Controls business in Civil Aerospace. We encourage flexible working arrangements and support hybrid working wherever possible, so you can always be at your best-wherever and whenever you work.What You Will Be DoingAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will:Manage and maintain the engine build technical package & ensure manufacturing processes comply with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.Champion a culture of zero defects and deploy digital systems that support Right First-Time manufacturingDeliver and maintain the manufacturing method for engine assembly, supporting flight compliance and production volumesCollaborate cross-functionally to enable design-for-assembly and rate-capable processesDrive process improvements and introduce enhanced manufacturing methods and technologiesMaintain full compliance with technical policies including Export Control, Intellectual Property, and Cyber SecurityProvide day-to-day technical support to operations and ensure process sustainabilityWhat We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who lives our core behaviours-putting safety first, doing the right thing, keeping it simple and making a difference.
