Key Responsibilities for theManufacturing Engineer: Improve manufacturing performance by working with production teams and engineering to optimise process flow and reduce waste
Define and maintain manufacturing standards, including work instructions, routings, and visual performance controls
Lead and support continuous improvement and lean initiatives to reduce lead time, rework, and work in progress
Establish and track standard cycle times, identifying opportunities to reduce labour content and improve productivity
Lead improvement projects and capital investment activity supporting new processes and product introductions
Support factory layout changes and process reconfiguration in collaboration with facilities and maintenance
