Your new role As Production Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic manufacturing operation, driving process efficiency, product introduction, and strategic improvement projects. You’ll work cross-functionally to refine workflows, introduce new products seamlessly to the shop floor, and lead ergonomic initiatives that uplift productivity and safety.Key areas of focus will include: Optimising production processes and supporting new product integration Enhancing workplace ergonomics and designing tooling for operator comfort Coaching and mentoring shop floor staff in engineering best practices Supporting long-term cost reduction through lean methodologies and data-driven analysis Conducting root cause investigations and leading cross-functional problem-solving initiatives
What you'll need to succeed Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering Hands-on experience with Creo CAD and Windchill PLM systems Deep understanding of manufacturing workflows and design for manufacture Excellent coaching, problem-solving and cross-departmental communication skills Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and ergonomic assessments A collaborative mindset and passion for continuous improvement What you'll get in return You’ll be joining a forward-thinking organisation where personal development is supported, and your ideas can make a real difference.
