Manufacturing Engineer – New Model Introduction Location: Woking Contract: 14 months Inside IR35
What to Expect
As part of our growing Manufacturing Engineering team, this Manufacturing Engineer – New Model Introduction role offers the opportunity to support the introduction of new models, shaping the processes that define how we build each of them. This position is essential for ensuring the successful transition of vehicle models from concept to prototype and eventually into series production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and operations, to influence and deliver new models.
Role of the Manufacturing Engineer – New Model Introduction
Create and develop deliverables for new model introductions, including vehicle assembly concepts, process sequencing, and documentation. Support the transition of new models from the virtual environment to physical validation and delivery. Develop and implement process traceability methodologies. Lead PFMEA development and contribute to driving best practices for improving Right First Time (RFT) delivery. Manage the Hours Per Car (HPC) data, ensuring plant efficiency and output targets are met. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
