This role will see you working closely with operational leaders, estimators and delivery teams to maximise project performance and drive continuous improvement across the commercial function.Youll also play an important role in strengthening commercial systems, improving reporting visibility and ensuring contracts are managed effectively to protect Holcims commercial interests.What Youll Be DoingLeading, mentoring and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors across multiple business unitsStandardising commercial reporting to ensure accurate, consistent financial data for senior leadershipActing as the final internal escalation point for complex commercial disputes, subcontractor negotiations and final accountsReviewing and improving commercial systems from project handover through to final account settlementDriving the adoption of digital commercial tools and reporting systems to improve efficiency and visibilityManaging contract review processes in line with the Holcim commercial frameworkImplementing strong subcontractor management and procurement protocolsIdentifying underperforming projects and conducting detailed commercial reviews to develop recovery plansLeading the commercial management of NEC and JCT contracts, including variations, compensation events and early warningsWorking closely with estimating teams to ensure lessons learned from project delivery feed into future bidsBuilding strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients to support successful project deliveryWhat Youll BringSignificant experience in Quantity Surveying within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction environmentsProven leadership experience in a Managing or Senior Quantity Surveyor capacity, overseeing multiple projects or teamsStrong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 and JCT contract formsDemonstrable experience managing commercial risk, claims and dispute resolutionA strategic mindset with the ability to improve systems, processes and reporting frameworksExcellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong commercial awareness with a focus on driving margin and EBIT performanceWe are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
