Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity. This is a hybrid role with a site base in North Wales. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? Were looking for a confident and commercially savvy Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the charge on high-profile National Grid OHL projects. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, know your way around NEC contracts, and enjoy working closely with site teams, this could be your next big move! Youll:
Take the lead on all things commercial across National Grid sites Manage subcontractor packages, valuations, and final accounts Prepare claims, reports, and forecasts Keep a close eye on project risks and making sure the paperworks watertight Spot variations, delays, and opportunities to recover costs Work with engineers, planners, and finance teams to keep things on track Ensure we stay compliant with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards What youll bring:
Solid experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally in Infrastructure or Energy Strong grasp of NEC3/4 contracts and commercial strategy Sound communication and negotiation skills Confident with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying Full UK driving licence
