Managing Estimator

We have an excellent opportunity for a Managing Estimator to join a leading tier 1 based in Reading. The business operates across several key sectors including defence, blue light services, education and commercial valuing typically up to £20mil. Their continuing growth plans have led to a requirement for a Managing Estimator to join the team. About the role of Managing Estimator: As Managing Estimator, you will be responsible for managing a team of Estimators ranging from Senior to Assistants. Whilst overseeing the teams activity, you will also be responsible for managing your own tenders. Key Responsibilities as Managing Estimator: Manage the Estimating teams activity and oversee all tender enquiries Manage tenders valuing up to £25mil Work collaboratively with the bid teams team Mentoring junior members of the team Key Requirements as Managing Estimator: Held an Estimator / Senior Estimator position within a main contractor and has experience managing a team Have experience with both single and two-stage routes Have experience with JCT and NEC contract forms Live within commutable distance to Reading and be happy to travel there / to site as required MUST have the full right to work in the UK Whats on offer for this Managing Estimator role: Salary: Up to £90k + Package Company Car / Car Allowance Strong flexi benefits Opportunity for progression as the unit grows This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Estimator who's looking to step up into the Managing Estimator role, or someone who's held the role and is looking for a change. xehkeey If you think you'd be suitable applicant for the role or would like more information, please apply or contact Abbie in the Southampton office.
