An established manufacturer is seeking a Managing Director to head up their UK operations, playing a lead role in developing their sales / product strategy and helping to continue their historic journey of growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to establish yourself in a role with real influence, as you oversee all operational elements of the business and help to increase overall market share.

An ideal applicant would be a current MD with a strong sales background or a Sales Director (or similar) looking to step into a more operational role. Ideally you will come from an Electronics, Construction Tools, Power Tools, HVAC, Building Materials, Plumbing, or adjacent sector which sells through distributors and / or merchants.

The business is well established business supplying the UK trades sector, with both B2C and B2B product offerings. They pride themselves on the quality of their products and are renowned for their product innovation. Due to an upcoming retirement, we are seeking a Managing Director to join the business on a full-time and permanent basis.

This is an autonomous role with full responsibility for the UK operation, reporting to the board in Europe. You will oversee a diverse team and be tasked with overseeing, enhancing, and implementing their sales / product strategy for the UK.

*Managing Director with strong sales / product background, or
