By bringing together the capabilities, talent and clinical excellence of St George's and Epsom and St Helier, we are shaping a model that delivers better patient outcomes, improved staff experience, and long-term sustainability. Gesh is entering a critical and defining phase of its development. Set against one of the most challenging operating environments the NHS has faced in recent history, the Group has developed an ambitious five-year plan (2026/27 - 2030/31) which seeks to fundamentally reshape how care is delivered, how services are organised, and how the organisation achieves long-term financial and operational sustainability. After years of collaboration, our two Trusts became a hospitals group in 2021. While remaining as two separate Trusts, being a hospitals group will help us to collaborate more closely on research, and the development, education, and training of our 17,000-strong workforce. At gesh we are committed to supporting flexible working arrangements. Applicants are encouraged to discuss any flexibility they may need during the recruitment process.
