We are working with an elite national law firm who are seeking a Managing Associate to lead their Real Estate practice within their Belfast office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a nationally ranked Real Estate team, advising on a range of matters with a focus on clean energy projects (such as wind, solar, battery storage, and hydro). The candidate’s duties will involve dealing with drafting option agreements and leases, undertaking due diligence on projects, and acting in relation to financing of projects and large-scale acquisitions and disposals.

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria:

• 6+ PQE;
• Strong background in real estate and future energy matters;
• Excellent commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
