Management/Cost Accountant, Telford, up to £50k
My client is a manufacturing company producing precision products for customers worldwide. They are currently recruiting for a Management/Cost Accountant to be based at their facility in Telford.
The main role responsibilities will generally include, but not be limited to the following: -
*Preparing and distributing monthly management accounts and month end reports to support the decision-making process. *Attending monthly Board Meetings to provide support and analysis to drive financial performance and control from P&L to cash flow. *Working with the operational management team on the preparation and delivery of business plans, budgets and quarterly forecasts. *Maintaining & developing robust processes and procedures that ensure accurate and timely accounting records are maintained. *Ensuring compliance with statutory and company procures. *Developing and monitoring KPIs forecasting on profitability issues, commercial risks, working capital and related cash flows. *Working with operational management on cost control and monitoring and the control of overheads. *Providing financial evaluation for all contract initiatives and commercial changes. *Ad-hoc projects to implement continuous improvement in efficiencies.
