About the Role:
We are seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team within a prestigious private members club environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing insight across core revenue streams including Membership, Food & Beverage, and Events.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with operational teams while maintaining strong financial control and reporting discipline
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary
Perform variance analysis against budget and prior periods
Support annual budgeting and rolling forecasts
Analyse key revenue streams (Membership, F&B, Events) and cost drivers (labour, COS, overheads)
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations (accruals, prepayments, inventory, deferred income)
Support stock and cost control processes, including variance investigation
Assist with cashflow monitoring, receivables, and payables
Assist with VAT, HMRC and other government compliance
Work with operational teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making
Assist with audit and tax requirements
About You
Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
Minimum 2 year experience similar role, in hospitality, clubs, or hotel environment preferred
Strong Excel and financial systems skills Business Central, Symphony Micros, Salesforce.
Commercially aware with the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive
