Kenton Black Finance have partnered with a well known and prestigious brand in Carlisle as they seek to strengthen their finance team. This role is well suited to somebody with good grounding exposure within a finance function, looking to build on their existing experience in an all-encompassing role which offers exposure to management accounting, budgeting and forecasting activities.

Your New Role as Assistant Management Accountant:

• Support with management accounts preparation • Support with the production of budget and forecasts • Preparation of VAT returns • Assist with the preparation of year end and audit activities • Maintenance of the fixed asset register • Provision of ad hoc analysis as required • Provide ad hoc financial support to aid effective decision making, liaising with other departments as required, building and maintaining strong working relationships

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

To be considered, you will have a positive, hardworking and can do attitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. With an analytical mindset, strong systems skills including Excel are essential. Experience of working within a finance function and knowledge of accounting principles is required for this role.
