Management Accountant

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established business based in Shropshire.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this position will take responsibility for monthly financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and involvement in a range of ad hoc finance projects across the business.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday | Office-based

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed profit and loss reporting

* Assisting with the production of annual statutory accounts for review

* Providing financial support across the business, including working closely with commercial teams to identify cost efficiencies

* Supervising and supporting two members of the finance team

Candidate Requirements:

* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Management Accountant role

* Ideally part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / AAT)

* Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial systems

* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational and communication skills

* Full UK driving licence required due to location
