Management Accountant Salary: £50,000 per annum Working Hours: 8am - 5pm with a 1 hour lunch - Monday - Friday Benefits: Onsite gym, pension, free car parking, competitive salary, the opportunity to be part of a growing business. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for delivering accurate financial information, insightful analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation, helping to drive financial efficiency and profitability across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Support the preparation of statutory accounts and assist with internal and external audits.

Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for financial transactions.

Ensure compliance with financial policies and governance standards.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

Develop financial models to support planning and strategic initiatives.

Monitor financial performance against budgets and conduct variance analysis.

Provide scenario analysis to support business planning.

Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify efficiency opportunities.

Analyse profitability across products, services, and departments.

Support pricing strategies and margin improvement initiatives.

Evaluate the financial impact of operational changes.

Maintain and strengthen internal control processes.

Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Ensure adherence to financial procedures and regulatory requirements.

Uphold professional and ethical standards in line with recognised accounting bodies.

Qualifications & Experience Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in a similar Management Accountant or finance role (preferred).
