Contract Length: 4-6 Months FTC
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team near Falkirk, Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in management accounting to contribute to a well-established business.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts and associated reporting
Post journals, including accruals and prepayments
Liaise with department heads to support forecasts, budgets, and five-year plans
General accounting and completion of various tax returns
Support departmental cost control and financial planning
Assist with coding invoices and port-related tenant recharges/recoverable works
The Ideal Candidate:
QBE, part-qualified, or ACCA finalist
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Able to work effectively to deadlines and manage competing priorities
Good business acumen and organisational skills
Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
Full UK driving licence (for occasional travel)
