We are seeking a Maintenance Worker II to join our dedicated team at MVH – Scarborough. The Maintenance Worker performs maintenance and repair work to buildings, grounds and equipment, in order to provide a safe, functional, sanitary and comfortable environment for the , employees and the public. This position also assists the Environmental Services Manager in meeting environmental care compliance with all federal and state regulations. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, and shares in the on-call responsibility.

Requirements:

A minimum of three years of experience, education and/or training in general maintenance and repair work, with a basic knowledge of carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, painting, grounds keeping, and custodial functions. Experience in a healthcare environment helpful. Must possess and maintain a current and valid State of Maine driver’s license. Requires proficiency in spoken and written English. Ability to understand and respond to ’ needs and inquiries in English is required. Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required. Basic computer skills
