Location: Stoke-On-Trent

Salary: £45,000 + Pension + Overtime

Days Based Monday – Friday - Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 Friday 07:30 - 13:30

Key Skills

* Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical

* Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery

* Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The jobholder will work on a weekend shift pattern and be responsible for strong / clear communication links between shifts and relevant departments. The ideal candidate will come from either an electrical or a mechanical engineering and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer (but multi-skilled) and ideally have fast paced machinery experience. The jobholder will also be responsible for general maintenance work on drives, motors, wrappers, pumps, conveyors, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
