Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and practical Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep of our buildings, grounds, and vehicles at our HQ in Thetford, Norfolk. This is a varied, hands-on role involving day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs, groundskeeping, and basic vehicle care, ensuring the site remains safe, functional, and well-presented at all times.
Working 15 hours per week (typically Monday to Friday, 2pm–5pm, with some flexibility), you will take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues, responding to urgent needs, and supporting small refurbishment projects. The role requires someone who is organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
You will play an important part in maintaining a welcoming and well-maintained environment, contributing to the smooth running of the site through a wide range of practical tasks.
