We are supporting a market-leading manufacturer in their search for experienced Maintenance Technicians to join their growing engineering team at their Ilkeston site. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and ambitious business that invests heavily in its people and facilities. The Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
Maintain and repair DC motors and associated drives Service and repair electrical control systems Carry out electrical and/or mechanical installation work Perform planned and preventative maintenance (mechanical and electrical) Diagnose and resolve breakdowns on industrial and process control systems Carry out repairs on extrusion plant equipment Liaise with and support external contractors and suppliers on site MUST BE ABLE TO DO 4 ON 4 OFF DAYS AND NIGHTS The Person We are looking for candidates who have:
A recognised electrical or mechanical maintenance apprenticeship/training scheme (Level 3) Significant electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematic drawings A full driving licence (may be required to assist at other sites) The Package
