Maintenance Technician Our client, a prestigious, international manufacturing company, based in Norwich are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team.

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience required NVQ Level 3 in a mechanical maintenance discipline. Relevant hands on experience in engineering maintenance (a minimum of 3 years). Boiler repairs and maintenance PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and basic electrical skills. The ability to multi-task and problem solve, using reliability data to identify improvement needs. Have the ability to communicate clearly and work well as part of a team.

Key Duties: Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the role will cover: Mechanical maintenance on a variety of process plants including; pumps, vessels, separation equipment, heat exchangers, hydraulic /pneumatic and piping systems. Reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings and circuit diagrams. Basic electrical work on such items as electric motors and starter circuits. Complete mechanical assembly and pipe preparation tasks. Valve repair/ refurbishment including pressure testing. ...
