Are you a hands-on Maintenance Technician or Mechanical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?
Do you enjoy fault-finding, improving plant reliability, and keeping critical equipment running at its best?
We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our established maintenance team, supporting a high-performance production operation.
The Role
You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the plant, supporting equipment reliability across the site. You'll respond to breakdowns, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime and improve performance.
Safety is at the heart of everything we do - you'll work to the highest health & safety standards while supporting production teams to meet demanding operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out reactive and planned mechanical maintenance on plant and production equipment
Diagnose faults and complete corrective repairs to return equipment to optimal performance
Support continuous improvement by identifying repeat breakdowns and improving maintenance schedules
Work safely at all times, following LOTO, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and schematics
What We're Looking For
Apprenticeship or City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering / Maintenance
Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment
Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
Working knowledge of:
CNC machinery
Hydraulics & pneumatics
Cooling systems, pumps, motors, heat exchangers
Confident using maintenance systems and PCs
