Job Title: Maintenance Technician\n\nLocation: Field-based (London / South East / UK travel as required)\n\nCompany: The Framework Group\n\nSalary: £36K per annum\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are seeking a reliable and skilled maintenance technician to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a varied and hands-on role, essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of our office fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on client sites and potentially within our own facilities.\n\nKey Responsibilities (including but not limited to):\n\n * Basic carpentry (e.g., assembling furniture, installing shelving, minor repairs)\n\n * General repairs and maintenance (e.g., fixing door handles, unblocking drains)\n\n * Painting and decorating (touch-ups and minor works)\n\n * Basic plumbing tasks (e.g., fixing leaks, unblocking sinks)\n\n * Basic electrical tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, testing equipment)\n\n * Assisting with the installation of office furniture and equipment.\n\n * Moving and handling of materials and equipment safely.\n\n * Ensuring work areas are clean and tidy.\n\n * Always following health and safety regulations.\n\n * Reporting any issues or concerns to the Project Manager.\n\n * Skills & Experience Full UK Driving Licence will be required\n\n * Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar maintenance role.\n\n * Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is essential.\n\n * A good understanding of health and safety regulations within a construction environment.\n\n * Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.\n\n * Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.\n\n * Good communication and interpersonal skills.\n\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n\n * Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.\n\n * Painting/decorating experience and basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.\n\n * First Aid certification (desirable but not essential).\n\n * Experience in office fit-out environments (desirable but not essential).\n\nWhat we offer\n\n * Competitive salary + vehicle/allowance (if applicable)\n\n * Consistent pipeline of commercial projects\n\n * Supportive team and clear progression opportunities
