We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Location: Wellington, Somerset TA21

Immediate start

Previous experience required

Shift: Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.30 and Friday 07.30 to 12.30

Contract: Permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to work in a large manufacturing site in Wellington, Somerset.

The role:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be working within a production environment, and your duties will be as followed:

• Be proactive in machinery maintenance

• Ensuring staff are correctly trained

• You will be responsible for day-to-day operation of the maintenance function ensuring minimum downtime of plant and equipment

• Maintain machinery to ensure they meet safety standards

• Has an awareness of maintenance spend against budget
  

About you:

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will have the following skills and experience:

• Looking for long term, permanent work

• Have a City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• You will be able to commit to the hours advertised

• Knowledge in UK H&S Legislation with regard to plant, machinery and equipment
