Our client is an industry leader and has a great reputation in the market and a huge order book, so job security is guaranteed.Overview Maintenance Supervisor RoleResponsibility for supporting the growth of the manufacturing operations across site, implementing maintenance procedures & continuous improvement processes to streamline and shape manufacturing capabilities, keeping downtime to a minimum. Managing teams ranging from 8 – 10 and 2 team leadersYou will be working in a automated and some of it will be heavy industry environment working on.The development and promotion through effective communication of Company, Factory and Team plans and their focused implementation to achieve defined objectives.People Management, motivation and structured development of the team through performance review to ensure delivery of objectives through team working.Provision of engineering and technical expertise to facilitate the rigorous application of IMS tools and techniques to generate Continuous Improvement across all areas of the manufacturing capability.Implementation of and adherence to all Company and Factory control procedures to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental.The collection, assimilation and analysis of engineering, production and process data and its effective use to develop and achieve key targets and objectives.• Recording spares used for re-order• Carrying out safe isolation of plant to permit requirements• Completing condition-based monitoring schedules• Part of a TPM team to continuously improve plantCarrying out planned preventative maintenance schedulesCarrying out planned maintenance work• Isolation of plant under a permit to workThe CandidateThe Maintenance Supervisor formally qualified in mechanical or electrical and knowledge of hydraulics are ideal for this role.Demonstrable supervisory experience.The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.Demonstrable organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures.Leadership and man-management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team through performance review.The BenefitsSalary - £61,000Our client currently has bonus scheme paying out every quarter.Excellent overtime available.Will look at candidates who are in engineering roles and want to step up into leadership in the future.Excellent training available OEM qualification and formal qualificationsExcellent Holiday entitlement 33 days and pension available.ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
