Job Description Maintenance Supervisor – M&E Services – Kings Cross, London – £52,000 per annum

A leading facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a high-profile commercial site in Kings Cross, London. This modern, multi-tenant building features advanced infrastructure and requires a hands-on, technically strong individual to support both engineering delivery and team supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing both client relationships and day-to-day maintenance operations.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday – 07:00am – 16:00pm

Key Responsibilities

\n Supervise planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

\n

Carry out daily plant checks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all building services

\n

Monitor building management systems (BMS), alarms, and overall site performance

\n

Lead and allocate tasks to a small onsite team, ensuring high standards of service delivery

\n

Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with permit-to-work systems and health & safety regulations

\n

Undertake fault finding, minor repairs, and small installation works as required

\n

Maintain accurate site documentation, including service records, logbooks, and reports

\n

Attend client meetings and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure service excellence

\n

Ensure all works are carried out in line with statutory compliance and industry standards

\n

About You

\n Qualified in either electrical or mechanical discipline (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)

\n

Proven experience in a supervisory role within building services or facilities management

\n

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

\n

Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities

\n

Confident communicator with a professional approach to client interaction

\n

Flexible and willing to adapt working hours when required
