This role is a hands-on engineering position and will include:\n\nSupervising your own team on shift (4 on 4 off days and nights)\nDelivering operational multi skilled Engineering and Maintenance of all building services within the RBOH buildings\nResponsible for HVAC systems, water services, cooling towers, pumps, calorifiers, chillers and TMVs\nProviding maintenance for LV/HV systems\nManaging and issuing Permit to Work paperwork as required\nEnsure Method statements and risk assessments for all works are completed by the team.\nEnsure 3rd party subcontractors are supervised and comply with the site requirements and safe working practices.\nTo ensure that all asset data is recorded within the CAFM system and other compliance systems.\nWithin this role you will be working days and nights, 4 days on, 4 days off, 7-7. \n\n For this Maintenance Shift Supervisor role based in Covent Garden, we are looking for:\n\nA full apprenticeship qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with an NVQ/ City and Guilds level 3 Plumbing and Heating, Mechanical degree or Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th edition\nSignificant multi skilled experience of building services maintenance within large complex public buildings\nExperience of being responsible for engineers and contractors on site\nExperience of working in a continental shift role previously\nGood working knowledge of statutory compliance within a medium to large, diverse, and complex estate.\nAbility to react quickly and positively to situations and to be accountable, reliable and resilient\nA team player with people management skills to be able to supervise team members\nThis Maintenance Shift Supervisor role, based in London, is a rare opportunity to join a well-run estates team, working for an iconic organisation.
