A leading and well-established Facilities Management provider is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join their team on a large, static site in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a highly reputable organisation, supporting the delivery of high-quality maintenance services within a structured and professional environment.
The Role
Working as part of a large on-site maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing and mechanical works across a busy commercial facility.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial plumbing systems
* Maintenance and repair of hot & cold-water systems, sanitaryware, and pipework
* Supporting wider mechanical maintenance tasks alongside the on-site team
* Fault finding and diagnosing issues efficiently
* Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety standards
* Completing job reports and updates via CAFM systems
* Assisting with minor installation and project works where required
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Plumber (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a commercial maintenance environment
* Basic mechanical/HVAC knowledge (desirable)
* Experience working within FM or building services (highly desirable)
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
