Maintenance OperativeLocation: London (Within the M25)Salary: £35,000 + Company Vehicle & ToolsHours: Full Time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work if required)Are you a skilled Maintenance Operative looking for a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same?We are looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Operative to support a portfolio of sites across London. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to utilise a broad range of trade skills.The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering a high-quality maintenance and repair service across multiple locations. This is a multi-skilled role, requiring a strong background in plumbing alongside general maintenance skills.You will work largely independently, so confidence in your ability and a proactive approach are key.Key ResponsibilitiesPlumbing (Core Focus):Repair minor leaks on hot and cold pipeworkReplace taps and washersClear internal waste pipe blockagesCarry out minor tiling and sanitary ware repairsGeneral Maintenance:CarpentryAdjust and rehang doorsFit locks and door mechanismsInstall shelving and repair cabinetsPainting & DecoratingCarry out touch-up work and general decoratingPaint floors, bollards and equipmentSheet MetalworkRepair storage units and trolleysFit locks, signage and protective fittingsCarry out minor damage repairsElectrical (Basic)Replace lamps and starters in office and storage areasComplete all tasks safely, efficiently, and to a high standardMaintain accurate records and provide excellent service on-siteWhat Were Looking ForMinimum 5 years experience in a similar maintenance roleStrong plumbing experience (essential)Multi-skilled across general maintenance disciplinesFull UK driving licence (essential)Confident working independently across multiple sitesGood communication and customer-facing skillsKey SkillsStrong problem-solving and fault-finding abilityGood organisation and time managementAbility to prioritise and manage workload effectivelyHealth and safety awareness, including safe use of tools and equipmentFlexible, reliable and proactive approachWhats On OfferSalary of £35,000Company vehicle and tools providedField-based role covering LondonStable, long-term opportunity with variety in your day-to-day workJBRP1_UKTJ
