Maintenance Operative

We are currently looking to expand our Maintenance Department and are seeking additional Maintenance Operatives to maintain and upkeep the garages sites ins and around designated areas (predominantly North/North West London and Kent but all areas in the South East / South West will be considered) to ensure that they are kept safe, secure and in good condition. You would be required to carry our a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, which will be varied in nature. Whilst not exhaustive, examples include: Weeding/sweeping the vegetation of compound Removal of debris from the garage roofs Forecourts (potholes, Repair Tarmac, Repair type 1 concreting) Guttering Clearance, Repairs, replacement and renewal Fly tip Removal and debris clearance Garage clearance Painting of Doors, Frames and Fascias Lubrication of door runners, gates and hinges Report defects to the office Erect and Maintain Signage (Advertising and instructional i.e. Fragile roofs etc) Door repairs/replacements Brickwork/Carpentry/Drainage/Roof work experience not essential, but could be beneficial. You should have a clean driving licence, be practical, dependable and have high work ethic.
