We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Operative Plumbing to join our team based at London - St Charles Hospital - Main Building.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm.

This is a mobile role covering West London.

The starting salary for this role is from £28,000 (depending on experience) plus on-call allowance.

Requirements for the role:

• Qualifications: At least one of the following:
• NVQ Level 2 or higher BTEC/City & Guilds or equivalent in Plumbing & Heating
• Formal apprenticeship or craft-trained equivalent

Additional Requirements:

• Driving licence is essential
• Comfortable using technological devices to log jobs
• On-Call availability
• Industry experience (desirable)
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team, collaborating with other technical disciplines

Note: DBS Checks & DVLA checks will be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with NHSPS Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, Technical Guidance, Regulations, and relevant standards
• Deliver scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services as directed by the planner, helpdesk, or supervisor, maintaining operational standards
• Support minor works activities managed by the team
• Undertake routine repairs including joinery, painting, general building works, ground works, or plumbing
• Maintain accurate site log books at NHS premises
• Assist in delivering minor capital works to NHS premises
• Complete risk assessments before works and follow relevant permits or work plans
• On-Call allowance (rota dependant)
• Company van and tools provided
